2010 Player Registration

For the 2010 season, you will be able to register your player in one of two ways.  You may (1) download and complete a registration form OR (2) register your player online (scroll down to download a form or register online).

Registration Fee:

  • $50 for a single player if postmarked/registered online before March 15th.  $65 thereafter.
  • $75 for two or more players in the same family if postmarked/registered online before March 15th.  $90 thereafter.

Financial assistance is available if needed. 

Choose your registration method:

  • Register using a paper form.  Download a registration form using the links below, complete, and return.
  • Register online.  You may register your player(s) online using the form below.  Click on "register" at the bottom of the page to complete the online registration.

Choose your payment method:

  • Pay by check.  Make checks payable to TAGS and send to T.A.G.S., P.O. Box 672, Traverse City, MI  49685-0672.  If you've registered your player online, please note on the check the players for which you are making payment.  Please note that a player will NOT be officially registered until a completed form (paper or online) and a form of payment (check or credit card) has been received.
  • Pay by credit card.  To pay by credit card, click on the appropriate link on the right side of this page.  You will be directed to PayPal for secure online payment.  If you've registered your players with a paper form, please note on the bottom of the form that you've made payment by credit card.  If you've registered your player online, please note in the "comments" section that you've made payment by credit card.  Because of the fees that TAGS incurs by offering a credit card option, a 3% convenience charge will be added if the credit card option is used ($1.50 on a $50 player registration, or $2.25 on a $75 family registration).  Thank you for your understanding!

You have the option of paying your players' registration fee online with a credit card using PayPal.  To use this service, have your credit card information ready and click on the appropriate link below.  Please note that in order for TAGS to cover the fees that PayPal charges, a 3% convenience charge will be added to your registration fee.

Waiver to T.A.G.S. and Commitment of Participation: I understand that the T.A.G.S. program for which I have enrolled may be hazardous and that injuries may occur in the normal course of participation including transportation to and from activities.  In consideration of acceptance as a participant in the Traverse Area Girls' Softball program, I hereby wavie all claims against T.A.G.S., its organizers, sponsors, supervisors and other participants, from all claimse for injuries suffered by me or my child incidental to, connected with, or arising otu of teh recreational activity for which I am or my child is enrolled, including injuries suffered as a result of negligence by T.A.G.S., its organizers, sponsors, supervisors and otehr participants but not including injuries suffered as a result of willful or intentional misconduct or gross negligence.

I do hereby waive, release, absolve, indemnify and agree to hold harmless T.A.G.S., its officers and Board of Directors, members, organizers, sponsors, coaches, supervisors, participants and persons transporting my child to or from activities, from and against any claims out of injury or harm to my child incidental to, connected with or arising out of T.A.G.S. activities.

I understand and acknkowledge that my insurance is the primary medical or health insurance coverage.

I agree to return in good condition any and all equipment issued, and agree to be responsible for same except for normal wear and tear.

I understand that placement of players on teams is left to the sole discretion of the Board of Directors.

I certify that to the best of my knowledge, I have or my child has no physical infirmities or sickness except as follows: 
I understand that T.A.G.S. has the full discretion to determine the make-up of all softball teams based on year of birth.
